Granny wants an apology from General Grant for attacking the Culpepper plantation. Colonel Blake wants Jethro for the army reserve but he has to take a written test first. After Jethro takes the oath, he sees General Grant & Colonel Blake talking. He hears General Grant say he’s going to attack the plantation again. Jethro tells Granny & she goes & shoots him off his horse again.!!
